DUMA® Karya Awards is an award initiated by DUMA®, an eco-friendly local material that has been part of thousands of projects shaping the face of Indonesian architecture and interior design for 23 years. The DUMA® Karya Awards is the highest honor for architects and interior
designers who make sustainability not just a choice, but a part of every design.
The Background
For over six decades, PT Sumber Djaja Perkasa has been committed to advancing sustainable construction material solutions in Indonesia. Since introducing DUMA®️ to the Indonesian market in 2003, that commitment has taken tangible form for the past 23 years — a locally manufactured material that has since become part of thousands of building projects across the country. Yet the quality of a building is not only determined by the materials, but also by the ideas, design sensitivity, and courage of architects and designers in transforming them into meaningful spaces.

Who can participate in the competition?
Open to all architects and interior designers with 0-10 years of experience across Indonesia.
How do I register for the competition?
To register, click the "Register" button and fill out the required details to create an account, select your category and add your team members to your profile. If you are a returning participant, you may log in directly to update your profile or proceed with your design submission.
Is this competition paid?
No, there is no registration fee; participation is completely free.
What kind of projects can be submitted?
Only projects that use DUMA® products are eligible for submission.
Do I have to submit as a team?
Yes. Registration must be done as a team with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 3 members.
Can I submit multiple entries?
Yes. However, you must be registered using a different account, as each account is limited to a single submission.
Where will the selection results for the next stage be announced?
The finalists who advance to the next stage will be officially announced on our website and on Instagram at @dumakarya. We highly recommend turning on notifications to stay updated.
What is the Awarding Night?
The Awarding Night is the grand finale of DUMA® Karya Awards. It features an on-site (offline) final evaluation where top finalists present their design directly to the jury panel.

No. The design is not fully open. The project must strictly follow the official design brief, which is to design a DUMA® exhibition booth with an area of approximately 100 m².

No. This category is open to both individual submissions and teams with a maximum of 3 members.
